Two women were arrested after a pub's Mother's Day male strip show descended into a brawl 'involving up to a dozen women'.
Violence erupted inside The Woodman Arms in Normanby, Teesside, on Sunday night and spilled out into the car park behind.
One stunned witness said he saw women “all piling in” as police confirmed reports up to a dozen were involved in the melee.
Cleveland Police said two women, aged 24 and 30, were arrested for being drunk and disorderly in a public place and served with penalty notices.
Male strippers had been booked to perform at the pub, which encouraged people to “treat your mum to something different”.
A picture reportedly posted by the pub showed dozens of women enjoying the entertainment on Sunday afternoon - with a group gathered around a stripper in a workman-style get up, Gazette Live reports.
But hours later, violence erupted.
A witness claimed he saw women “all piling in” and a number of others being put into the back of a police van, after officers broke up the scrap in the car park behind Normanby High Street.
A Cleveland Police spokeswoman confirmed: “Police were called to the Woodman Arms at around 10.25pm on Sunday night to reports of up to a dozen women fighting.
“It started inside the pub and then moved outside.
“Two women, aged 24 and 30, were arrested for being drunk and disorderly in a public place and were issued with fixed penalty notices (FPN).”
Anyone issued with an FPN for being drunk and disorderly must pay a £90 fine.
The Woodman Arms has yet to comment.
